Everest Brand Solutions has won the creative duties for Augere's broadband wireless service, to be launched under the brand Zoosh in India. The agency won the business following a multi-agency pitch that took place in Delhi.

Reliable sources in the industry have confirmed the news to afaqs! on grounds of anonymity, and say, "The agency will work towards creating the brand concept for Zoosh."

Augere, which will mark its entry in India with the launch of its services by the second quarter of this year, may also begin its hunt for a media planning and buying agency, soon after finalising the creative partner.

According to several media reports, Augere Wireless, a wholly-owned unit of Augere Holdings (The Netherlands) is planning to invest up to $60 million over the next three-five years to launch and establish its 4G telephone service in India. The company intends to roll out commercial 4G broadband services initially in 14 cities of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh under the brand Zoosh.

Currently, the company offers 4G services under the brand Qubee in several countries in Asia such as Bangladesh and Pakistan, and African countries like Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania.
