After a stint of two years as the creative head at LG Ad (a part of GIIR Media Communications), Dipansu Saha has put in his papers. However, his next destination remains unknown, at the moment.

Sources close to the development have confirmed the news to afaqs!, on grounds of anonymity. Repeated attempts to get through Saha were futile, until the time of filing this report.

LG Ad was launched in India by GIIR Media Communications (established in 1964 as an in-house advertising agency for the LG Group of Korea), in early 2010. The agency later forayed into above the line advertising, with Saha being brought to head the creative department.

During his tenure, the agency won several LG Electronics' accounts such as the entire home entertainment (HE) range, which includes all audio-visual products and televisions, apart from the air conditioner and water-purifier accounts.

With a Master's degree in Fine Arts from Banaras Hindu University, Saha joined Arms Cresta in 1996. The following year, he moved to McCann Erickson to hone his skills in art. He next moved to Grey, where he spent the next two years as art director.

Saha switched to Mudra Max in 2004 as group head, where he worked on brands such as Mitsubishi, Dabur, HBO, and Electrolux for the next two-and-a-half years. This was followed with a stint at Innocean as creative director, after which, he assumed a similar role at Dentsu Marcom, and later, Dentsu Communications.
