Percept/H and its sister agency, Allied Media, have bagged the creative and media planning and buying duties, respectively, of logistic services company FedEx. The company had called for a multi-agency pitch in June in Mumbai. The pitch saw participation from agencies such as JWT, McCann Erickson, OMD and Dentsu, among other agencies.

The overall size of the business is said to be about Rs 15 crore.

Senior officials close to the development have confirmed the news to afaqs!.

Dentsu Creative Impact was the incumbent creative agency on the account, while its sister agency, Dentsu Media was the media agency of record (AoR). So far, in case of advertising, FedEx has followed the traditional path of using print, television and outdoor.

In March, FedEx Corp selected GyroHSR London as its lead creative agency in Europe, West Asia and Africa. The appointment led to the addition of GyroHSR to FedEx's existing roster of agencies, including BBDO Worldwide New York, which handles global advertising for FedEx.

For the record, FedEx, based in the US, provides customers and businesses worldwide with a broad portfolio of transportation, e-commerce and business services. With annual revenues of US$39 billion, as claimed by the company, it offers integrated business applications through operating companies competing collectively and managed collaboratively under the FedEx brand.
