Nothing seems to be going right for Rediffusion-Y&R, at present. Last month, the agency witnessed four of its top executives walking out from its Mumbai and Bengaluru branch. Now Arvind Mohan, the agency's chief strategy officer has put in his papers.

Sources close to the development have confirmed the same to afaqs!.

Mohan had joined Rediffusion-Y&R in 2007, replacing Santosh Sood, who had left the agency by then. Mohan, who has a Bachelor's degree in General Science from St Stephen's College, completed his MBA in Marketing from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.

In 1994, Mohan joined DraftFCB Ulka as an account executive, where he worked for about two years. He then moved to Leo Burnett as an account manager, followed by a short stint at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising as account director and at TBWAChiatDay as account planning director. In 1999, he moved to McCann Erickson as executive planning director. At McCann, he worked for eight years, before moving as strategy head at Future Brands.

Mohan has been the brain behind the success stories of brands such as Kinley Water for Coca-Cola, the recasting of Dabur Chyawanprash, the launch of NDTV's Hindi news channel, and category development work for the launch of Xbox 360 in India by Microsoft.
