Ward was part of the integral team that launched the India operations for the agency.
BBH India has got Paul Ward as managing partner, a position vacated by Priti Nair a few months ago. Interestingly, Ward was part of the integral team that launched the India operations for the agency.
After helping Subhash Kamath and Partha Sinha set up the Mumbai office, Ward had moved back to Singapore where he worked on various projects, among which the partnership deal with The Mill, in Asia, was a notable one.
Subhash Kamath, managing partner, BBH India, says in an official communique, "Ward's global experience and skills will be invaluable to us, besides the fun and laughter that he brings to the table."
Ward says, "I'll be hitting the ground running, as there are lots of things to do both internally and externally. I'll be working hard to build more collaborative partnerships with the very best design, digital, film and experiential businesses across India."
BBH India's staff strength has grown beyond fifty, since it started in 2008.
Ever since its inception, the BBH India office has won new businesses from local clients such as Marico, L&T (Larsen & Toubro), TVS, and Lakme. It has also worked on the agency's existing global relationships such as World Gold Council, Diageo, and Vaseline.
In order to create additional capacity, the branch is currently undergoing more development.
