"I am delighted to be in the middle of an opportunity that most advertising people will never get -- to build a global brand. I have helped create a lot of brands in India, but this is a paradigm shift -- for me, and for my team. It is a whole new agenda, and with the way the world is going, this is the future in every aspect," says Pat, in a press statement.
He further adds, "iYogi has already expanded its customer base rapidly through viral online marketing. I am looking forward to accelerate and reinforce iYogi's relevance and success through multiple platforms."
A much popular figure in Indian advertising, Pat, in his previous role as national creative director at Cheil Worldwide, Southwest Asia, worked on building the Samsung brand in India including repositioning Samsung mobiles.
Before his three-year stint at Cheil, Pat was the national creative director at Grey Advertising. His work on the India Shining and Incredible India campaigns has been much talked about. He has also had a stint at Mudra Communications.
During his career, he has worked on brands such as SBI Credit Card, India Today, Domino's Pizza, Vimal, Ajanta Clocks, and Dhara, among others.
Commenting on Pat's appointment, Uday Challu, chief executive officer and co-founder, iYogi says, "There will be no limit to the kind of work Pat can do as iYogi's CCO. His fresh approach and unparalleled creative track record is right in line with iYogi's strategy of challenging the traditional delivery of online technical support head-on with a solution that is convenient, cost-effective and scalable. His new role will help partners and potential global customers understand our offering as a disruptive and innovative force in the market."
