Sachdev moves in from JWT Bengaluru, where she was senior creative director
Rediffusion Y&R is strengthening its creative team in Mumbai with the appointment of Tina Sachdev as creative head. Earlier, Sachdev was assistant vice-president and senior creative director, JWT Bengaluru. During her four year stint at the agency, she worked on brands such as Levi's, ING Vysya, Nike, Van Heusen, Black Dog and Whyte & Mackay.
This is Sachdev's second stint at Rediffusion. Earlier, before joining JWT, she had worked at the Bengaluru office of the agency for five years.
She will report to Minakshi Achan, chief creative officer, Rediffusion Y&R and will head one of the three verticals in the Mumbai office, working on FMCG, financial and media brands. Each vertical is led by a business, creative and a planning head.
Sachdev tells afaqs!, "FMCG is relatively new to me and Mumbai is a good place to work on these brands. It is indeed a great change. I am also excited about working with Mahesh (Chauhan, group chief executive officer, Rediffusion Y&R) and Minakshi once again."
Sachdev began her career in 1995 as a copywriter with Everest Brand Solutions (then Everest Advertising) in Delhi, where she worked on Rotomac, Red &White and Panasonic. Three years later, she moved to MAA Bozell, working on brands such as Ray-Ban and Hewlett Packard. After spending two years with the agency, she joined Rediffusion Y&R, Bengaluru.
At Bengaluru, she was in charge of ING Vysya, handling corporate, insurance and bank communication. She worked on ING Vysya's 'New Face of Money' corporate campaign, as well as 'Child Plan' and the 'Orange Savings Account' campaigns.
