Zee Kannada, famous for winning the hearts of all Kannadigas with its variety of shows, is putting together a grand platform to bring to you a brand new programme- a one of its kind in Kannada television.
Zee Kannada has had a magnificent journey of six years since its launch in Karnataka. Every year, the channel has organized many special events and award functions with novelty and splendor. This time, 'Zee Kutumba Awards' is the event brought to you to give you a dazzling experience.
The Zee Kutumba Awards are exclusively for the serials, reality shows and other programmes of Zee Kannada and their artists. This event will take place on March 3, 2012, from 5:30 pm onwards, in at the Basavangudi National College Grounds, Bangalore.
Zee Kutumba, unlike the other award ceremonies, will have an all new way of defining awards. Kutumba- as the name suggests, Zee Kannada plans to highlight relationships with these awards and not just individual characters e.g. Best Family, Best Mother-Father, Best Mother-Daughter, Best Pair, Best Villain pair, etc. In another wing for reality shows we have categories like the Best Anchor, Best Reality Show, etc.
In this race for awards, several social platforms and the masses in general have already started debating as to whose is the 'Best Family'- where some claim there is no stronger family than Chi. Sou. Savitri's and the others say Benkiyalli Aralida Hoovu has had the most touching stories. Radha Kalyana is also ahead in the race and Arasi is heading to the finish line just as fast. In the 'Best Pair' nominations, the competition is high among 'Savitri-Narasimharao', 'Devi- Suchendra', 'Malli-Srikant', 'Pandu-Jaji', 'Parvati-Parameshwara' and 'Radhika-Vishu'.
The much awaited 'Best mother-in-law – daughter-in-law' pair will be chosen based on SMS, and these results will be revealed only on the stage.
Zee Kutumba Awards will be a colorful and star-studded event with all the television artists, who are much loved by their audiences. Sihi Kahi Chandru's special act called Chandru-Katte, where he gets to pull every stars leg with his quick wit and humorous questions, is one to watch out for. There will be a bright and lively performance by the popular actress Neetu. Film celebrities and Politicians will also be a part of this grand event.
