Mumbai's favorite sports bar Manchester United Café Bar has announced 51 new distinctive yet classic twists on the menu from starters to desserts. The new menu is a delightful blend of traditional and non-traditional cuisines from all around the globe. The menu highlights not only a range of American and Italian favorites but offers its gastronomes an exciting range of Japanese, Arabic and Mexican cuisine as well.
"We wanted our new menu to reflect Manchester United Café Bar's core ideology of serving a variety of dishes to our loyal patrons. The menu has been designed keeping in mind what appeals to families and youth", says Prashant Narula, Brand Head.
Get up to speed on your gourmet quotient with 23 assorted starters to kick off your meal. Try the lip-smacking special 'Jack Daniel's Chicken Wings' marinated, char-grilled and tossed in Jack Daniel's sauce. Look out for vegetarian Gnocchi specials in spinach and tomato dumplings variety and 'Prawn Katsu', tiger prawns marinated in herbs crumb-fried and served with a dip.
The new menu boasts a whole new addition of peppy salads as off sides. From contemporary 'Crudité Salad' with batons of crunchy celery, assorted peppers, cucumber, baby corn and carrot with a mint dip; crunchy special 'BBQ Grilled Chicken Salad' for all those who would like to treat themselves with low-fat grilled chicken tossed with crunchy greens, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes and olives.
Whet your appetite on brand new addition of sizzlers on the menu. 'Manchester Sizzler Platter' which offers its gastronomes a choice to create their own scrumptious choice of vegetarian, chicken, fish, prawns, beef or lamb sizzler. Not only this, you can choose from a wide assortment of vegetarian and non-vegetarian starters, sides and sauces to accompany your own sizzling sizzler. Other than the Manchester Sizzler Platter chef also recommends 'Kingfish Steak' a mouth-watering dame of Surmai grilled and topped with fruit salsa or butter garlic.
At Manchester United Café Bar, the menu has been carefully designed to suit all taste-buds. Special dishes for kids have been incorporated in the menu to bring the best experience among them at Manchester United Café Bar. For kids we have a special 'Crunchy Corn Potato Burger' with American corn, potatoes, peppers and herbs mixed and crumb-fried and a Mumbai-meets-Manchester special 'United Nachos' tortilla chips covered with delicious beans, cheese sauce, picos, jalapenos and scallion. To add to their delight, with an addition of Rs 50 on the Kids Special Dishes, kids can earn themselves a bottomless raspberry or strawberry lemonade.
Highlights in the Italian League is Players Special 'Manchester Supreme' pizza which is a delectable combination of exotic veggies over melted cheese; an exquisite 'Thai Chicken' pizza with tangy Thai spices; 'Meat Feast Pizza' a super yummy chicken sausage, chicken bacon, smoked chicken and jalapenos over thin crusty pizza. Latest addition of pasta delicacies are Florentine and Asparagus Risotto.
American substitutes include Players Special 'Champions Beef Burger' with grilled beef patty and 'Double Buster' which is a 5" burger bun with meat patty and chicken bacon for double fun.
New dishes in Full Time include 'Vegetarian Shish Tawook' a Middle Eastern preparation and a resist-if-you-dare 'Pizookie', a dessert recommended by the chef herself - a pizza in chocochip cookie dough toppled with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce, simply irresistible!!
