Honeywell announced it has named Ashwani Gupta as Country Manager & Managing Director of Honeywell International (India), effective immediately. Mr. Gupta will be responsible for driving Honeywell's growth in India and South Asia, besides overseeing the company's existing businesses.
Prior to joining Honeywell, Ashwani was the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of HFCL, Infotel. Earlier, he spent 19 years at GE in a variety of assignments in India, the U.S., Saudi Arabia and Japan. He led GE's business development activities in India for most of the 90s, was the productivity leader based in Tokyo and Managing Director of GE Power Controls at Bangalore.
Ashwani is an MBA and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Delhi University.
