The best part of my job is
The best part of my job is the infusion of creativity. In the realm of marketing and advertising, nobody likes monotony, and my job allows me to be innovative and unique with my ideas and approaches. It inspires me to perform to my best. The essential components of my job—creativity, admiration, and contributing to society—fulfil me and allow me to fully embrace it.
My leadership mantra
"Whatever happens to you is only 10%; how you react to it is 90%." Thus, taking ownership of the things I have control over and can bring about change is what drives me as a leader. I believe leveraging ownership and commitment to drive change in our lives and society at large is a genuine example of leadership.
My career-defining moment
A recent career-defining moment was being named among theTop 50 Influential Women 2023. I feel empowered when industry peers acknowledge my contributions. Being a woman of influence is no less than a job, and I am glad and honoured to navigate this path with continued support.
My advice to young professionals
One thing I always tell younger generations to remember is to be great learners because education probably has a limit, but learning never stops. My advice to young people is to give 500% and be exceptional. There is no limit to your potential if you keep learning on your way to success.
How I recharge on the weekends
On weekends, I especially like to spend time with my kids. Be it a lunch date, a shopping excursion, or movies, such moments with my kids are truly refreshing.
A recent ad campaign I liked
Recently, I loved the Maa ka Ehsaas campaign by Catch Foods. The film beautifully captures a mother’s long-distance love and affection for her child, conveying the message that others will always remember to care for our children, no matter where we are.
