My career-defining moment

My mentor's advice before restarting SoCheers was to be mindful of those who put their lives and careers on the line for your vision. It becomes your responsibility to ensure they are taken care of and that their careers grow. I think that advice made me decide what kind of entrepreneur I wanted to be. SoCheers is people-centric to this day because of this lesson.

My advice to young professionals

Don't be shy—speak up with your ideas.

How I recharge on the weekends

Being a father, my weekends are happily and entirely dedicated to my daughter! Spending time with her has more than once led me to marvel at the entire mechanism of the human brain and how it grows. Also, interestingly, the books I read to her and the games I play with her, end up teaching me some long-forgotten things too!
