Mandeep Singh, Revenue Head, NDTV
Mandeep Singh is a dynamic entrepreneur and business leader who brings over two decades of business and marketing expertise to his role as revenue head of NDTV. Here’s a little sneak peek into his work day, leadership mantra, and advice to young professionals.
The best part of my job is
Networking with some of the most brilliant minds in the industry, picking up new skills at every gathering, and enjoying the perk of representing the most trustworthy and credible news brand.
My leadership mantra
Have a vision for the people, brand, and business you represent.
My career-defining moment
After my entrepreneurial (D2C) venture,I returned to the corporate world more resilient, adaptive, consumer-centric, persistent, and risk-aware. Running your own business, whether it succeeds or fails, teaches humility and caution. My advice to all professionals, regardless of experience, is to run their own business at some point.
My advice to young professionals
Love what you do, not the job. Continue honing your craft. Nobody can ever take away your skill set.
How I recharge on the weekends
Family, Friends, Gym, Netflix. Repeat.
A recent ad campaign I liked
I liked Tata Motors' moment marketing around WPL, where Ellyse Perry received a framed broken window as a present. She cracked the window glass of a parked Tata Punch Car in the stands with one of her six shots. Simply amazing!
