Aditya Ghosh joins as advisory board member and Dipanjan Basu joins as partner and CFO.
Fireside Ventures, an early stage venture fund, has announced key appointments in its top management. While Aditya Ghosh joins as advisory board member, Dipanjan Basu joins as partner and CFO.
Ghosh will be mentoring and advising the portfolio brands and also co-investing in some of them. The former president of IndiGo Airlines has recently joined OYO Rooms as CEO, India and South Asia. Fireside Ventures advisory board also comprises of Amit Agarwal, senior VP Amazon and country manager India; Harsh Mariwala, chairman - Marico; and Sri Rajan - chairman, Bain & Company India. He will join the company by the end of Jan 2019.
Dipanjan Basu will be responsible for initiating and managing new investments in addition to setting up financial, regulatory and Investor management processes for the fund. He will closely work with all the portfolio companies on their business and financial strategies and help strengthen their financial and regulatory processes. Dipanjan will join Kanwal Singh - managing partner; Vinay Singh - partner; and Kannan Sitaram - venture partner to strengthen the senior leadership team at Fireside.

Basu, a chartered accountant, has over 17 years of experience. In his previous stint, he played CFO of Myntra and Jabong. Prior to this, he was the chief finance and operating officer for Wipro's digital and consulting business. Basu brings along diverse experience ranging from understanding the e-commerce consumer space and building digital brands.
