Volkswagen India makes senior level appointments

Ashish Gupta has been appointed as head of sales operations and P. Ravichandran has been appointed as head of after sales operations.

In a recent announcement, Volkswagen India has appointed Ashish Gupta as head of sales operations and P. Ravichandran as head of after sales operations. Both the appointments will be effective December 1, 2017.

Currently, Gupta is working with the company as head of after sales and Ravichandran is responsible for field operations.

Commenting on the appointments, Steffen Knapp, director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India, says in a press release, "We at Volkswagen believe in nurturing the in-house talent and that is true to the philosophy of the Volkswagen Group and one that offers a diverse platform for enhancing and building a robust leadership team. We are confident that both the gentlemen will continue to excel in their new roles and responsibilities."

In their new roles, Gupta and Ravichandran will be reporting to Knapp.
