Anuj Katiyar joins BTVi as marketing and research head

BTVi, an Indian business channel has appointed Anuj Katiyar as the marketing and research head for the channel. He will be based in Mumbai.

Speaking on his new role, Katiyar says in a press note, "I am really excited about the role as BTVi comes from an extremely strong lineage of great content. This year we will focus in building BTVi into a strong brand backed by rich and impactful content, coupled with strategic marketing initiatives."

Katiyar will be responsible for developing overall brand and communication strategy for the channel. He will be closely working with the teams across functions as the channel aims for an aggressive growth for the next phase. He will play an integral role in developing and executing key strategies to aid the channel's growth in India.

Katiyar will be reporting to Monica Tata, chief operating officer, BTVi. Commenting on the appointment, Tata, says, "We are really happy to have Anuj on board. We believe that his expertise in the marketing and research domain will be a valuable asset to the channel. His knowledge and experience will help BTVi brand to scale new heights."

Katiyar comes with over 12 years of experience in the industry. Earlier, he has also worked with Times Now as a Marketing head. Prior to that, he was associated with Zee Learn, UTV and Colors.
