Dinesh Kapoor has been appointed as the chief client solutions officer (CSO), South Asia, at Millward Brown. Kapoor will also be joining the Millward Brown South Asia Board.

He brings to the table over 20 years of work experience. He was most recently heading Nielsen's customised research and BASES businesses for the South Asia region at Nielsen South Asia. Prasun Basu, MD, Millward Brown South Asia, says, "Dinesh has always worked from the trenches on MR solutions and has been excited about creating learning work out of existing data. This has added immense value to both employees as well as clients. This, coupled with his experience in people leadership and client-facing roles, places him well to enable our large South Asia organisation to become knowledge experts and trusted client partners, as well as help clients see us as the best agency in our domain of expertise."

Some of his other major accomplishments include setting up and leading the South India business for Indica Research (now IPSOS), as well as leading its national consumer research business. His early career was spent in Mode (later TNS) and IMRB. He was also the global leader for the Unilever business for BASES. Under him, this account had one of the best growths and received the top global agency award from Unilever.

Kapoor has a Master's degree from Bharatidasan Institute of Management (BIM), Trichy, and Bachelor's of Mechanical Engineering degree from Madurai Kamaraj University.
