Puri has more than 25 years of experience and has been with TNS since 2010.
Global research consultancy TNS has promoted Anjali Puri as head, centre of excellence for the agency's global Qualitative practice. Based in Bengaluru, Puri will report to Rebecca Wynberg, CEO, TNS Qualitative.
Puri joined TNS in 2010 and has worked in several key positions. Earlier, she was MD, TNS Qualitative, Asia Pacific.
In her new role, Puri will be responsible for developing TNS' qualitative offer, lead new thinking and articulate best practice. She will also work closely with TNS' global practice heads to ensure the organisation delivers integrated approaches to clients across the globe.
Puri says, "I am really looking forward to leading our newly established centre of excellence and to working even closer with Rebecca Wynberg and our qualitative expert practitioners across TNS to strengthen our capabilities and bring fresh, innovative thinking to our clients."
Commenting on the appointment, Wynberg says, "She is highly regarded in our industry for her contemporary thinking in qualitative research globally, particularly in the areas of consumer choices, behaviour change and social media. Her input will be instrumental in helping us to deliver world class research excellence across all our markets."
Puri has an experience of over 25 years and has been associated with TNS since 2010. Before TNS, she has worked with The Nielsen Company, IMRB and also been a freelance qualitative practitioner.
She is a frequent presenter at ESOMAR and other industry forums and has received multiple awards, including the 'Best New Thinking' award by the UK MRS and the WPP Atticus award in the 'Research in Practice' category.
