FMCG conglomerate CavinKare has appointed Jatin Bhatt as vice-president, business development and marketing, special products. He will be based in the company's Mumbai office. This is an addition to the core management team to strengthen the senior-level and capture new opportunities in the fast-growing FMCG market.
In an official communiqué, C K Ranganathan, chairman and managing director, CavinKare, says, "With this duo on board, we have further strengthened our senior management team presence in India. Jatin comes with excellent track records in marketing functions. He shall be a key member of the company's 'go-forward' leadership team."
With extensive Indian, as well as global experience in marketing, Bhatt has been previously employed with companies such as Pidilite India, Tata Tea, and Marico India. At Pidilite India, Bhatt held the position titled 'chief of marketing'. He holds a Master's Degree in Management Studies from the University of Bombay, as well as a special Consumer Insights course from IIM Ahmedabad. As the vice-president of marketing and business development, Bhatt will be responsible for modern trade marketing, OTC and strategic alliances.
