Philips ropes in brand ambassadors; launches India chapter of global campaign

The consumer durables company has got the singer trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy as brand ambassadors for its Philips Lifestyle Entertainment range of products. The company has also launched the India chapter, Feel the Music, of its global campaign, Obsessed with Sound.

Health and well-being company Philips India, in an effort to reinstate its position in the space of music and entertainment, has roped in singer trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy as brand ambassadors for its lifestyle and entertainment range of products.

Speaking about the association, Anjan Bose, business head and vice-president, consumer lifestyle, Philips India, in an official communiqué, says, "Shankar, Ehsaan, and Loy are a perfect fit as brand ambassadors as they reflect Philips Lifestyle Entertainment's values of authenticity, credibility and passion for sound. The association with the trio will strengthen Philips' connect with pure sound, and help us connect with our target audience better through their music."

The company has also launched the Indian part, Feel the Music, of its global campaign, Obsessed with Sound. The campaign underlines the company's obsession with offering solutions that help listeners get a feel of its music.

Bose adds, "Philips has been obsessed with sound for over 80 years, putting our passion for authentic sound quality into the heart of every Philips audio product. Our aim is to offer solutions that deliver the most authentic sound just the way the creators intended it to be."

Philips has also unveiled its new range of lifestyle entertainment portfolio, with products designed around the 'Feel the Music' philosophy. The company has focussed a lot on sound innovation and its technological expertise with new propositions such as ambisound technology for better sound, precise driver positioning to deliver a truly immersive experience, 3D-angled speakers to evenly disperse sound, full sound technology for enhancing on-the-go music experience, unique touch controls, music iLink, powerful speakers with double bass pipes, and many more.
