Anshuman Singh, who was chief executive officer of Welspun Retail till recently, has now joined the Pantaloon Future Group as chief executive officer of its new business venture, Value Fashion. As per industry sources, Value Fashion will be among the largest factory outlet model in the country.
Singh’s mandate here will be to take care of the growth and expansion of the business and create formats based on the lines of factory outlets and discounted models.
Singh has more than 15 years of experience in the industry. He has worked with Pantaloon earlier as the head of supply chain and logistics for all formats of Pantaloon Retail. Before that, he worked as general manager of supply chain, Bombay Dyeing, and head of logistics, H&R Johnson.

Singh says, “For me, it’s like coming back to the future. The Future Group is a fast growing organisation and one of the biggest retailers in the country. It’s a good opportunity for growth and, as I have worked here earlier, it also provides me with a good comfort level with people.”
For the record, the Future Group is headquartered in Mumbai and operates through six verticals, including Future Retail, Future Capital, Future Brands, Future Space, Future Logistics and Future Media.
