Previously the COO's position was occupied by Amitava Mitra, who was recently named CEO of the agency.
Jiten Bhagat has been appointed as chief operating officer (COO), Percept/H, effective May 5, 2014.
He will be responsible for strengthening the strategic planning and integration function, overseeing the entire operational functioning and business of Percept/H at a national level. He will be focused on creating opportunities for synergy within and across the Percept Group, attaining profitability and revenue growth as also paving the roadmap for the overall businesses for Percept/H.
Prior to joining Percept, Bhagat has been associated with communication agencies including L&K Saatchi & Saatchi, Ngage & Design Law & Kenneth, Leo Burnett, Draft FCB Ulka, and Grey Advertising. He has been instrumental in launching and creating brands such as Mahindra & Mahindra's Scorpio, Pantene Shampoo, UltraTech Cement, Essenza Di Wills, Fiama Di Wills, Vivel Di Wills, Rejoice Shampoo, Spencer's Retail and Beverly Hills Polo Club.
He has worked in diverse capacities pan-India, and his specialisation includes Brand Planning & Development, Integrated Communication Strategies, New Product Development and Innovation.
