The ranking order of the channels remains unchanged.
Star Plus, the leading channel in the Hindi general entertainment genre, is the biggest gainer in week 12 of TAM. The channel grossed 624 GVMs in the latest week, as opposed to 592 GVMs in the previous week (week 11).
The Star India channel had aired 'GIMA Global Music Awards' on March 15. The three-hour-long awards show delivered a viewership of 2.9 TVM and garnered a gross viwership of 17.6 TVM. Five of Star Plus' shows feature among the most watched Hindi GEC shows.
As per TAM data (C&S, 4+, HSM), Viacom18's Colors comes in second with 457 GVMs, up from last week's 428 GVMs. Two of its shows appeared in the top shows' chart.
Zee TV, meanwhile, lost numbers to settle with 394 GVMs, as compared to 407 GVMs in the earlier week. Three of its shows are in the top ten. The grand finale episode of 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' delivered viewership of 4.7 TVM with a reach of 23.9 million (time spent: 35.4 minutes).
Star India's second channel, Life Ok, concluded the week with 302 GVMs (307 GVMs last week).
Multi Screen Media's SAB TV and Sony Entertainment Television ended the week with 275 GVMs (288 GVMs) and 201 GVMs (last week 221), respectively.
&TV clocked 99 GVMs in its third week, while Zindagi wound up the week with 21 GVMs (last week 23).
Zee TV's 'KumkumBhagya' was the most watched show with a viewership of 10.2 TVMs. It was followed by Star Plus' 'Saathiya Saath Nibhana' and 'Yeh Hai Mohabattein' fetched 9.8 TVMs and 9 TVMs, respectively.
At No. 4 is Colors' 'Sasural Simar Ka' which garnered 8.4 TVMs, followed by Star Plus' 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' and 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' with 8.3 TVMs and 7.9 TVMs, respectively.
Zee TV's 'Jamai Raja' clocked 6.7 TVMs, while SAB's 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma', at No. 8, fetched 6.5 TVMs. Next on the list was 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' (Colors) which recorded 5.9 TVMs.
Zee TV's 'Qubool Hai' occupied the last spot with 5.3 TVMs.
