J Walter Thompson, or JWT, has announced a new logo and identity for the agency.
As shared by the agency in an official communiqué, 'the new identity reflects our rich heritage and drives it into the future. J. Walter Thompson creates pioneering solutions that build enduring brands and businesses. And we strive to do the same for ourselves by reaffirming what it means to be one of the longest standing and most respected agencies in the world'.
J. Walter Thompson is headquartered in New York. The agency has more than 200 offices in over 90 countries. The new logo will be applicable for JWT Worldwide.
In India, JWT was established in 1929 with its Mumbai office. The New Delhi office followed in 1944. The agency handles a gamut of clients from across categories including , Nestle, PepsiCo, Airtel, Nokia, GSK, Nike, Godrej and Intel.
Recently, JWT elevated Colvyn Harris from CEO, India, to executive director, global growth and client development. Tarun Rai, former CEO of BCCL's Worldwide Media (WWM), was named CEO, JWT, South Asia (including India, Sri Lanka and Nepal markets), a role previously occupied by Harris.
