Addressing the appointment of DDB Mudra Max, T S Pattabhiraman (aka Swami), chairman and managing director, Kalyan Silks, says in an official communiqué, "We are happy to associate with DDB Mudra Max as it is well reputed and trustworthy. Its client relationship is commendable. Most of the clients it is associated with have been retained for a long time. This acts as an indication of its efficiency."

Kalyan Silks was established in 1909 in Thrissur, Kerala. Today, the brand has presence across cities in Kerala including Kochi, Palakkad, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kottayam. The company also has a wholesale textile showroom at Thrissur. This year, the company will launch more domestic outlets at Thiruvalla, Thiruvananthapuram, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
Kalyan Silks launched its first overseas store in Karama, Dubai in 2011. The brand also has showrooms in Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia and in the Gulf region.
